Nadeshot’s Total Net Worth

When it comes to eSports gaming, you can find many players living the good life. Back then, parents told kids that playing video games wouldn’t make them successful, but some proved them wrong as they are now making millions of dollars competing in high-stakes eSports tournaments. One specific player who has reached the ranks of other millionaires is none other than Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag.

The Early Days of Matthew Haag

The former Call of Duty pro-player was born on August 3, 1992, in Palos Hills, Illinois. He attended the Amos Alonzo Stagg High School and then took up a Business Studies course when he stepped into college. He later found himself a job at McDonald’s, but that did not stop him from pursuing his passion for gaming, in which he went and competed in several gaming tournaments.

Nadeshot’s Gaming Career

He started his video gaming career when he was only 13 years old, wherein he became a competitive gamer in Halo. During one Christmas, someone gave him a Gears of War game as a gift, and he almost got into the MLG Chicago Gears of War in 2007. During his time playing video games, he sharpened his skills, which made him one of the best at most shooter games. You can find that he has more female followers than men because of his looks. But there is more to him than his facial looks, and that is his exceptional skills in competitive gaming.

His career highlight began when he became the 2011 Call of Duty XP World Champion. Fast forward to 2014, and he became the captain for OpTic Gaming, which was also when the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Call of Duty: Ghosts seasons happened. He was given a gold medal when he joined the 2014 Major League Gaming X Games. He also won the title of “Best eSports Player” at The Game Awards held in 2014.

Nadeshot became Red Bull’s eSports athlete at that time. He also turned to stream at Twitch, where he showed off his skills playing most shooter games such as Fortnite, Call of Duty, and many more. He even has a Youtube, which he amassed at least three million subscribers and posts some of his streaming clips and highlights. He was also given the opportunity to be sponsored by Scuf Gaming and Astro Gaming.

The Retirement Stage

In 2015, he announced that he would be stepping down as a pro player for OpTic. After retiring as a pro player, he started a team of his own in 2016, and it had different branches of gaming such as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and League of Legends. Apart from gaming, he was also involved in donating to a children’s hospital alongside Michael “Flamesword” Chaves. He also loves cars and has his favorite BMW I8 in his car collection. Currently, Nadeshot has a total net worth of about $10 million.
