Benefits and Limitations of Teamster Credit Card

 Hardship Grants

The Teamster Credit card comes with three primary benefits: hardship grants, rebates and discounts, and MasterCard benefits. The hardship grants apply for unexpected difficulties that you may encounter while working and can be of significant help to your situation. This particular benefit will only be applicable for you if you have been a cardholder for at least three months, and the amount you can receive depends on the loss event.

While the hardship grant option is certainly one of the card’s most attractive features, it also comes with limitations and restrictions. For example, each card member and account holder may only receive one grant of each grant type.

Rebates, Discounts, and Benefits

Another advantage of the Teamster Credit Card is that it provides useful rebates and discounts that can be helpful for any union member. It offers AT&T rebates, auto and home insurance discounts, car and truck rental discounts, and many others. If you want to learn more about these benefits, you can head on over to your card account.

Furthermore, you are entitled to MasterCard benefits, such as coverage for collision damage on a rented vehicle, price protection, and the like. The drawback, in this case, would be that the credit card is only available for members of the Teamsters Union.

Low Rates and Limits

While the card’s $0 annual fee is certainly enticing, this is compromised by a 1.5% cashback, a rate that is noticeably lower than most other offers. Furthermore, your credit limit is capped at $10,000, so you may have to limit your card usage or pay your fees in the middle of the month to continue using the card.
