The pandemic was certainly a time of way too much TV, but all of that TV made me realize just how low-quality our current TV was. We decided we had to upgrade to get a better, more crystal-clear view and we’ve been loving this excellent, UHD 4K, 43″ TV since then!

I Can't Be Without My Coffee

Even during the pandemic (maybe, especially during the pandemic?) I needed my morning coffee to feel like a real, functional adult. Keep Your Phone Secure No Matter Where the Trail Leads

My dad got really into cycling in 2020. He just liked being able to get out and away from my mom and siblings, I think, but maybe he was actually excited about all that work. Keep It Frothy, My Friends

Obviously, Starbucks was out of the question during lockdowns. And that meant we had to work pretty hard to recreate our favorite drinks at home. Matcha For What Ails You

We, like so many others, went through a phase focused entirely on immune-boosting. The last thing we wanted was to get any form of sick, let alone get COVID (we all remember how full the doctor’s offices were). Matcha was one of the ways my husband most enjoyed getting his extra vitamins and minerals that helped keep his immune system in fighting order, and this was his favorite matcha he tried — and he tried a lot.

It's Time to Level Up Your Sheets

I don’t think I’ve ever slept as much as I did during 2020. It was just so easy to nap when there was nothing else to do. But our sheet sets sucked then so I had to really level up our sheet game so I could have something that felt luxurious to slide into at night. Or at 10 am. Or at 3 pm. Anytime, really.

You Need This Portable Battery

Hear me out — it seems silly that I used this compact portable battery in 2020, but I absolutely did! A ton! Don’t judge me! Those were dark times.

Light Renovations, Anyone?

I’m sure you remember seeing everyone on social media changing up their homes and spaces and really just turning their houses into works of art. Well, I didn’t do that, but I did add a fun little faux subway tile backsplash with these peel and stick tile sheets to change up my kitchen and bring in a little more light. It was hard work, but someone’s gotta do it!

These Lights Really Set the Mood

Since there was so much indoor time, I wanted to make sure it was as pleasant as possible, and part of that was changing up our lighting often. These LED rope lights were an easy way for me to adjust the house to fit just what I wanted without having to make too many changes. And they were great for the many (many) movie nights we had!

This Hatch Sound Machine Is Made for Easy Resting

My niece and nephew both have one of these in their rooms. It was so hard to keep kids on their schedules in 2020, but these white noise machines from Hatch really helped. They put them to sleep and keep them asleep and also have a timer that knows when to start gently encouraging them to wake up. It’s sort of like having an in-house nanny during nap time.

Truly! I live in this thing to this day! There didn’t seem to be a reason to stop wearing it if I wasn’t ever going to be seen by people (thanks to no-camera Zoom meetings!), so why change? Even now, I still love wearing this Hanes sweatshirt any chance I get. It’s cozy and comforting and warm.

This Flower Arrangement Will Never Die

I love having fresh flowers in my house, but I didn’t really trust anyone to deliver them without smushing them up, so we didn’t have any in 2020. Look Up Into the Night Sky

I bought this for my teenage sister during the pandemic because she absolutely hated being stuck in and around her home all the time. Change Up Your Surroundings

Your space doesn’t have to stay the exact same all the time, and nothing taught me that more than 2020. We changed up a few things here and there, but one of my favorite changes was adding these simple floating shelves. It gave us more storage, added some depth and dimension to our living room, and looks super stylish now.

An Anytime, Anywhere Bluetooth Speaker

Portable Bluetooth speakers are amazing! And they really saved me during the pandemic. There's Never a Bad Time for More Self-Care

I mean it! Self-care is always important, but it was especially important in 2020. This gua sha and ice roller set really got me through some of my tougher days. The Best Desk Lamp

Like many, I didn’t have what I would call a “home office” until the pandemic hit. I definitely had a room we called the “office,” but it was mostly a storage space with a desk. And we added this awesome lamp that I can point to right where I need, super easily and squeak-free.

Like most of you, when it was finally safe to gather at a distance, we had our friends over for lots and lots of yard and garden gatherings (small, of course), but we needed to add a little more light and we wanted to add a little more ambiance. These string lights were the best find of 2020 because they transformed our outdoor space into something magical and helped us make memories that will last a lifetime.

An Echo Dot, But Make It for Kids

My sister caved and finally got my nephew an Echo Dot for his room. He loves it! He especially loves being able to communicate from room to room when he doesn’t feel like getting up. But the best part? Amazon actually makes Echo Dots that are designed just for kids and even feature adorable artwork like this one with the cutest dragon ever.

The Best Travel Tumbler Ever

We didn’t actually go anywhere in 2020, but I went from the downstairs to the upstairs and into my office, and I preferred to do that with a cup of iced coffee in my hand. This insulated cup kept my iced coffee cold all day, throughout multiple meetings, and offers enough room that I can pour just a little heavier than normal on my favorite coffee creamer without overflowing it.
