Travel is super fun, but it can be more than a little challenging. Before I travel, I like to be sure that I’ve got everything I need. And, often, I like to make sure I have more than I need (I’m a big shopper, what can I say?). There’s just no sense going on an adventure if you’re not prepared for any and all events!

This list is chock full of some of my favorite travel items that I just can’t imagine leaving without. Whether I’m going on a road trip, heading out to camp, or going for an overseas adventure, there are just a few things I know I’ve got to have. I’m sharing my favorite power banks, I’m sharing my favorite packing accessories, I’m sharing my favorite safety gadgets! Sharing it all. Take a gander and I’ll bet you wind up with at least one of these great products in your cart!

Bring Your Favorite Perfume Along for the Ride

Just because you’re leavin’ on a jet plane doesn’t mean you have to compromise on bringing your favorite scents with you. These travel-sized, TSA-approved perfume bottles are the best and most reliable ways I’ve found to safely get my precious parfums through the security checkpoint with me.

The Smallest Power Bank Ever

Okay, I don’t know about the smallest ever, but it is pretty dang small! And so very convenient. If you’re headed out for the day to trek or to sightsee, be sure to slip this bad boy in your pocket. It won’t weigh you down, but it will charge you up, and you can carry your phone around like normal while it does. It’s a win all around!

Over the River and Through the Woods

Taking a trip to Grandma’s house? Consider bringing this air mattress with you. Sure, you could sleep on the bed in the guest room, but maybe you want something just a smidge more comfy? It could just be me, but both of my grandmothers have the sturdiest of beds and my back does not fare well the next morning. These are also great if you’ve got teens that like to “camp out” in the living room!

Nail Care Is Always Important

It doesn’t matter where you go; nail care is always important! You need to be able to clip that hangnail or trim that ripped nail right when you need it. Fortunately, these stainless steel clippers are small enough that they won’t take up too much space in your travel bag, but they can still cut through even the toughest of toe nails.

Keep the Sand by the Sea

My family goes to the beach. A lot. And because we go to the beach so often, I know just how crucial it is to have an effective way to remove all that annoying sand from your car. This compact vacuum cleaner is my secret. After every trip, I take this out of the trunk and get to vacuuming until the car is spotless. Now, if only I could find sand-impervious car mats…

Care for Your Skin No Matter Where the Road Takes You

It doesn’t matter where you are; you’ve always got to care for your skin! But if you’re camping, or you’ve run out of your skincare supplies a little sooner than expected, you’ve got to have a backup plan. I carry Dots for Spots with me everywhere, so I can be sure to handle breakouts right when they pop up, no matter where I am.

Never Camp Without One

Seriously! Never go camping without some sort of flashlight. And this one is sort of like the Cadillac of flashlights. It provides five different light uses for emergency situations (always good to have on hand) and one reviewer says it’s so bright that he “used [it] as a headlight for [his] bicycle.” I’d take that sort of flashlight into the wilderness with me!

I can’t imagine something more annoying than having to reach back behind my seat and scramble around for my purse. But if I keep it in my passenger seat, it gets tossed around too much! I travel out of country quite a bit, but I like to travel sort of off the beaten path and let me tell you, there is nothing more challenging than trying to explain to a shopkeeper that only speaks Greek why you need tweezers to remove the splinter that’s been stabbing you for days now.
